Performance of the NVIDIA RTX 4090/4080/4070 in 3DMark has been leaked. Kopite7kimi, a hardware leaker, now claims to be aware of the future GeForce RTX 40 series’ performance.
The user asserts that the RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 would both achieve results in excess of 10K on the 3DMark TimeSpy Extreme test. This news comes after the RTX 4090’s performance was released approximately 10 days ago. At that time, the same leaker said the card can score up to 19K points in the same test.
This time, Kopite is unveiling the functionality of the RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 models, both of which are anticipated to be released after the RTX 4090 appears somewhere in the first quarter of 2019. He pointed out that those results are based on the specifications previously given, which in this case means that the RTX 4080’s AD103 GPU has 10240 CUDA cores and the RTX 4070’s AD104 GPU has 7168 CUDA cores.
If those results are accurate, the RTX 4070 would do equally well in the same test as the RTX 3090 and Radeon RX 6900XT. On the other hand, the RTX 4080 would be nearly twice as quick as the RTX 3080.
Around October of this year, NVIDIA RTX 40 series should be expected; all three SKUs are probably to be revealed at the same time, however RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 might be launched later.
