ASUS/MSI are currently selling the Intel Arc A3 series. The very first desktop GPU from the Alchemist series, the Intel Arc A380 GPU, is now offered in three new prebuilt configurations.
In China, the A380 had its first release for system integrators in late June. But it wasn’t until the beginning of July that personalized GUNNIR Photon cards began to appear on the DIY market. It appears that the third stage, which is a worldwide OEM launch, is currently underway. MSI is currently offering a system featuring Intel 12th Gen Core CPUs and an A380 desktop GPU, claims hardware leaker @momomo_us.
Desktop cards from Intel will be sold alongside somewhat underwhelming models like the GeForce GTX 1650 or GT 1030 DDR4. Although MSI has not released the Arc A3 cards’ memory specifications, we already know that the A380 comes with 4GB of RAM as standard. While the A310 has only received one exposure to date, it is expected to have 4GB.
Additionally, we have two brand-new ASUS prebuilt PCs. The ExpertCenter D7 Tower is marketed as a business computer with up to Intel Arc A380 graphics that is quiet and simple to maintain. However, the ROG STRIX GT15 is a totally different beast, sporting graphics that can reach GeForce RTX 3080 or, alternatively, an Arc A380 GPU. But make no mistake, this is a gaming system, so it’s odd to say the least that the A380 is included here, especially next to the RTX 3080.
The MSI desktop is probably going to go on sale shortly as well, considering that the datasheet has already been leaked, and both ASUS computers are now listed on the company’s official website. Also worth noting is that MSI was one of the first companies in China to sell computers using A380 hardware.
